The thrilling climax...

Quite a few titles have been won, promotions sealed, relegations avoided, relegations confirmed. Play-offs have started and there are still many issues to be resolved through the English league system and abroad...

Premier League
While it seems Liverpools hopes ended on Wednesday, they could go level at the top in Saturdays 12:30 away to West Ham. The Hammers still have a chance of Europe through the league.
The 3pms see a few relegation vs European hopefuls do battle. Manchester United are currently 6th and 3 points ahead of Newcastle. They host Burnley and Sheffield United respectively, with the latter having their fate sealed with defeat. Burnley are within a win of 17th place and will be buoyed by Man Utds struggles this week.
Luton have the chance to climb out of the bottom 3 with a trip to Wolves, while Crystal Palace go to Fulham with the knowledge they are safe.
A couple of weeks ago Everton vs Brentford would have been a relegation 6 pointer, but by the time they kick off at 530 they could be very comfortable.
There is an 8pm, as Aston Villa look to extend the gap to Spurs to 9 points. They host a Chelsea side humiliated on Tuesday but still in the hunt for the ECL.
Sunday has the North London derby at 2pm. Arsenal will go into the game top, while Spurs may be 9 points off 4th but with 3 games in hand. All to play for.
Bournemouth and Brighton meet in a mid-table clash at 2 before Manchester City go to a Nottingham Forest side who could be in the bottom 3. That is the 4:30 offering.

Championship
Leeds kick off the action against QPR tonight. They could put a 4 point gap between them and 3rd placed Ipswich, although Ipswich will have 2 games in hand. Ipswich go to Hull on Saturday night with the Tigers still in the fight for the play-offs. By the time Leicester go to Preston on Monday night they may have already sealed promotion, but if not a win will do it.
Hull are 3 points behind Norwich and West Brom, with 2 places in the play-offs up for grabs. Norwich host Swansea and West Brom go to Sheffield Wednesday at 3pm tomorrow.
With 2 games to go there are still 7 teams fighting to avoid the 2 relegation places left open. Huddersfield are 3 points adrift and their demise could be finalised in a 6 pointer against Birmingham, who also sit in the relegation zone, 1 point behind Wednesday. Plymouth (away to Millwall), Blackburn (hosting Coventry), QPR and Stoke (at Southampton) are all needing points to secure their status.

League 1
It is final day in League 1, with all games kicking off at 12:30.
Portsmouth are already confirmed champions, and it is between Derby and Bolton for the other automatic place. Derby have a 3 point and 4 goal advantage over Bolton, and are at home to bottom placed Carlisle. It seems mission impossible for Bolton, who go to 4th placed Peterborough.
Barnsley (75pts), Lincoln (74), Oxford (74) and Blackpool (73) are fighting it out for the 2 other p-o places. Northampton, Portsmouth, Exeter and Reading are the opponents.
At the bottom there is 1 relegation place to be confirmed. Cheltenham on 44 points go to Stevenage. Burton are 2 points clear but with a worse goal difference, so will need a win at relegated Fleetwood to be sure. If both win, Cambridge could be in trouble on 47 points and go to another relegated side, Port Vale.

League 2
3pm kick offs for the final L2 games, with the top 3 already promoted. MK Dons will be participating in the play-offs, but there are 6 teams with a hope of joining them.
Doncaster and Crewe have 70 points and face Gillingham and Colchester. Barrow (68) host promoted Mansfield, Crawley (67) host Grimsby, Bradford (66) are home to Newport and Walsall (65) need a miracle at Wimbledon.
Colchester need a point to stay up, with Sutton 3 points behind. Sutton go to MK Dons and also need to improve the goal difference.

Ligue 1
PSG can win the title with a win tomorrow night over Le Harve (8pm).

Bundesliga
Leverkusen attempts to go unbeaten sees them face 3rd placed Stuttgart. With the 5 CL places there is little to play for up the top.
Darmstadt staved off relegation with a win over Koln, but will go this week if they don't beat Heidenheim or Bochum and Mainz win. Mainz play Koln, who are second bottom.

Serie A
Inter sealed the title in the Milan derby on Monday night. Also with 5 CL places, it is a fight between Atalanta and Roma for 5th. Roma go to Napoli and Atalanta host Empoli.
Empoli are one of the clubs in the relegation battle, which could be made more interesting tonight when 3rd bottom Frosinone go to already relegated Salernitana. Sassuolo, Udinese, Verona and Cagliari are all still in the fight.

La Liga
After beating Barca, Real Madrid go to Real Sociedad tonight with the chance to extend their lead to 14 points. Barcelona have to wait until Monday to reply, at home to Valencia.
Almeria could be relegated this weekend, and Granada could join them.

Primeira Liga
Sunday night sees Sporting going to Porto. If Benfica fail to beat Braga tomorrow it could be a chance for Sporting to take the title. Sporting are 7 points clear with just 3 games after this weekend - with H2H favouring them over Benfica.

Scottish Premiership
We are into the split league stage, and Celtic go to Dundee 3 points clear. That is the late Sunday game, with Rangers going to St Mirren at 12:30 the same day.
On Saturday Livingston will be relegated if they fail to beat Ross County.

The controversial National League play offs is at the semi final stage, with Barney hosting Solihull Moors tomorrow evening and Altrincham at Bromley Sunday afternoon.

Good luck to everyone this weekend, except Spurs, Man City and Liverpool. And Man Utd for that matter.

If Sutton win 3-0 and Colchester lose 1-0 they will end on same points, goal difference, goals scored, H2H.
It would be decided on who has won most games - Colchester..

I was resigning myself to Ipswich missing out on 2nd and then getting beaten by Norwich (who have had a far inferior season) in the play-offs. But Leeds have given new belief, which is to say new potential for disappointment.
