That was feccking abject

To those that watched the game on the box, you weren’t wrong; our ‘performance’ (if it can be called that) was absolutely feccking abject. Worst Leeds game I’ve personally witnessed.

Congrats to Leicester.

Part of me is hoping Ipswich win today to put us partially out of our misery. At least then we can concentrate on
the play offs knowing we're already in. Farke could then
give some of his knackered squad a rest for the Southampton game. Gather ourselves and who knows,
maybe we surprise ourselves and have a run at it.

I kind of agree, but my heart wants them to lose so that our agony extends until Tuesday when we can hope that they'll do no better than draw. Leeds only got one point from the 2 games that Ipswich now face and it is exactly this mindset that is driving me insane, every waking moment! Arghhhhhhh!!

Fck I hate myself right now. I've now convinced myself that Hull's going to QPR Ipswich. And my head's already
in that hopeless hoping place where I'm thinking maybe?

The problem I see and has become evident since we went top after 38 games is I don't think Leeds are capable anymore of winning 2 consecutive matches in a short space of time.

We seem to need at least a week's rest as Boro proved
to be half decent but throw in another game a few days later we are now abject so unless, assuming we are in the playoffs now we win the first leg away by 3 or 4 goals the home game 3 days later will see us lose by about 2 goals and get knocked out.

If Farke had been more prepared to utilise his squad more instead of continually sticking to his senior players and wearing them out we would I think have been promoted by now.

There is still a chance Ipswich blow up and if they do with 8 says rest till the Southampton game I fancy our chances of being good enough to win that game and still get up automatically.

If we scrape through to the Play Off final then again there would be a very good gap of time beforehand for the Leeds players to have enough in the tank to triumph at Wembley. If my Aunt had Cohones... yeah yeah yeah I know but you just can't help yourself unfortunately that's the curse of being a Leeds fan.

Problem is Batty…we could well be in the situation where we get the help required to put destiny in our hands again, but right now could we see this team beating a rotated Southampton team? Probably crumble under the pressure. That would just be the icing.

The players should be apologising to the coach and fans, the coach hasn’t made significant wrong decisions,
the players should take responsibility for abject team performances…they’re far too pampered.

yes we got pumped by a far better team who wanted it so much more. to me looks like we are a very tired / apathetic squad.

you all forget we are still 2nd.......for now, chin up you f3ckers

It seems that we really cannot handle pressure. Big occasions do not suit us we freeze as last night showed. It does not bode well for 2 or 3 high pressure games in the play offs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There was a moment at 2 nil when they won a corner, Amapdu tried to rally the players but looked so timid doing so and looked like he didn't have the belief. No leadership in this team except for Rodon. Not many of our starting players have promotion experience. Its a mentality game now as much as footballing ability.

Yep the lack of leaders on the field has been so apparent in this recent run. It is all very well when everything is going great but when things start going against you that is when leaders step up and organise everybody. I saw none of that last night, heads dropped and we never looked like turning it around.

As you say mentality is the big problem now and a drubbing like last nights could have damaged us psychologically for the seemingly inevitable play offs.

Just watching Everton v Brentford - only just discovered Pontus isn’t at the Bees any more. Jansson must think he dodged a bullet when Bielsa got rid of him. Looking back, I think we’d have survived in the Prem with Pontus - he was a born leader and the exact kind of player we need right now to rouse the useless fecckers that call themselves Leeds Utd players.
