Not now Vardy’s sorted them out.

Great interview btw by one of our most underrated players ever.

We'll see about the performance tomorrow. If it's back to the same dross we've been served up in the last 3 away games rather than the hint of necessary changes in tactics we've had in the last two home matches then it will be clear that Enzo hasn't learnt lessons and the future will be considerably dimmer.

Worryingly, from the MA interview, when asked about those two matches if the changes were a conscious decision MA responded 'It's just the way the game has panned out'.

So it seems we would have been treated to more doses of pure Enzoball if he'd had his way and he may not have learnt anything; that is concerning, and worrying on another level that the players aren't even capable of imposing Enzo's philosophy on Championship sides, let alone what awaits next season. We'll have a pointer tomorrow to see if he's capable of taking the lessons of the last couple of matches on board.

It was a nice interview with MA for sure, a very underrated player who always gave 100%.

The exhilarating Football was the players stepping up at last, they’ve coasted and lost confidence in their own abilities over a period of time.

It’s still a very young squad and you get ups and downs but Vardy reminded them how good they are, shown absolutely in Fats hat trick.

Roll on next Season!

The exhilarating football has been nothing to do with any conscious change from Enzo or the players. It was really to do with one thing - playing Southampton, a side that always brings out the best of a team playing Rodgers or Enzo ball.

With WBA - we also benefitted from being afforded more space and if you remember, it was a performance we got away with. We should have actually lost that match

As great as it is to have sealed promotion im not yet buying into the concept that we’ve turned any kind of corner playing style wise. I absolutely think that the return to pedestrian football will return - because that’s the way Enzo plays. All that’s happened here is that if teams allow us to hit them on the break - we will. When we don’t, we’ll knock it about for ages before giving a cheap goal away. Hope I’m wrong

Remember few years ago we gained promotion, and played Brighton a few days later.
Lost I think 3 nil,and all our players seemed somewhat out of sorts or hungover.
Hope this not happen on Monday!!

I agree with this. I definitely think we did have some deliberate more direct play for both of those games, but Southampton played into our hands and West Brom massively let us get away with one and should have battered us.

Interestingly Preston will probably be more telling now we can play with a bit of freedom against a team that won’t afford us loads of space and will likely dig in.

Let’s see how it goes.
