We’ve had ‘em all

We’ve had the big name managers
We’ve had the ex-legend player managers
We’ve had the win-now managers
We’ve had the young upstart managers
We’ve had the can’t speak any English managers
We’ve had the old English managers
We’ve had the from left field managers
We’ve had the ex-Chelsea managers

One thing is always the same. Failure. And ENIC
until they change or are replaced, nothing will change
Think about it like this. If Klopp or Arteta came to Spurs , do you think they’d have made the progress they did at Arsenal and Liverpool.
No, most likely not. Because ENiC wouldn’t have backed them with the players they got to make them challengers

Agree with that. But I fear we won’t let him kick on with some quality signings and he’ll struggle with a thin squad again. I mean bringing on Gil tonight shows where we are at, can’t see Ange being here past Xmas if I’m honest
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But we did not have to have Gil. That is on Ange. Lo Celso has looked our best player in 5 minute cameos and does not get a look in.

Santiago/Donley/Lankshear playing out of their skin we should of been playing them. Instead of the useless Gil.

Moore only on the bench as City looking at him.

Thin squad look at what Chelsea have to contend with or Newcastle with their injuries. Chelsea Made a cup final and semi final. Newcastle had Europe. We beat a rotated Burnley side at home.

I said the other day theres a chance we dont get Europe. Chelsea and Newcastle could pip us despite all their problems.

The U21's played a semi final tonight and won 4-3 after being down 3nil at HT. Might as well let the likes of Donley, Santiago and Lankshear finish what they have started. They could win a cup and will get pre season to stake their claim next season.

Agree with you about other teams catching us.

I see a lot of blaming of Levy and I've been laying into him since the Redknapp days and people are correct to have a go at the lack of success under him and ENIC, but is this recent rut specifically on him? Ange has been given good money to spend and the players we've bought we were generally content with, were we not? It seemed many were also ok with the Kane sale. I was against it but can see why he was sold. He still hasn't been replaced and most of us know it wasn't going to be done just like that.

Then comes the choice of manager. Surely nobody was complaining about this appointment when we were flying high at the start? I was apprehensive at first but soon warmed to the idea. We went for a manager that played football the right way so was a fairly good fit. Whether he is going to be the one to take us forward still remains to be seen. At the moment Levy hasn't done too much wrong with regards to the problems this season. It's as much Romero's fault as it is Levy's if you want to give someone who isn't Ange a hard time.

So glad I've stopped going. Only money i hand levy these days is for a couple of pints during the saracens game.

Though spurs still thoroughly fack me off, it's nowhere near as much as when I was spending a lot of time and money to watch these mugs.

We'll never compete with the big boys under Levy. The loser mentality seems from the top.

That’s true. I mean it was bad enough when we just had the ambition of top 4 from Levy- but now even that’s not there as all Ange cares about apparently is “progress”
But how do you measure that l?? Surely you have to measure it in terms of league position, performances, cup runs etc
If Ange is telling the players nothing matters but progress then that gives them a free pass to down tools like they have now because there’s no accountability on anything, only Anges subjective notions of progress

100% agree.. Ange has set the bar very low for himself as some kind of security blanket.... Sadly the players appear to be following his lead
