2 Simple Questions for Ange

I think Ange has done enough to earn the summer transfer window, he needs players better suited to his system, so we'll see if that's addressed.

He also has a history of addressing and improving things in his second season so that is also encouraging.

What is not encouraging is constant faith in Kulu, last night's performance takes the biscuit, and his dismissal of the set piece situation.

Overall, I'm actually willing to give him more time cos we know the brand of football can be good to watch. The yrs of defensive garbage are still too fresh for me to forget.

If we start next season how we've finished this one though, he won't last long.

If you objectively think about it and consider the entire season and all factors, its been a poor job. 5-6/10 for me.

The only people saying otherwise are those who are looking at it in a simplistic, one sided view / happy with mediocrity. “Ange plays great football”. “We are so attacking now it’s what we wanted”. “5th place first season is good”. Every single argument can be easily critiqued and defeated.

Do defenders need to be Usan Bolt fast ala VDV coz we are always defending on the half way line ? or don't like defending corners coz he doesn't care about that.... Hmmm

The way he got us playing like world beaters the first 10 games shows he has something about him.

Clearly it system requires very specific players, so he needs to address that in the summer.

Certainly done enough to get another season but this form can't drag into next season or the daggers will be out.

I don't watch you enough so will concede I could be talking crap, but those first 10 games could just as easily be put down to a new manager bounce/other teams not yet adapting to your tactics as opposed to Ange's brilliance.

I'm hoping Werner was a stop gap loan signing due to injuries/AFCON, Johnson was signed in the hope he will improve. Johnson shows signs at times of what he could be but no question he isn't good enough yet. However, I think both are the right type of player for the wide areas, just not enough quality.

In the summer, we need 5 players who can go straight into the first team. Huge questions over that happens it has to be said.
