I'm just in from work haven't seen the match.
As strong a lineup as he can have maybe, maybe Joseph for Piroe but the point is, the result and performance from what I read are poor.
We're going into playoffs with awful for, zero momentum and I've gone from thinking we can win every match to feeling I cant see us win another match this season.
Lots of waffle from Farke in presser but he touched on point Ive mentioned before about experience on pitch and he's right, we're really lacking that and he was also honest that the leadership has to come from him.
I've gone from having confidence in him to starting to doubt him, one wonders if the owners have too?
Ultimately, after all turmoil pre season and our start, you tell me we get 90 points and third I would have said great job.
But being top with 8 games to go and all in our own hands, well this is a calamitous end to the season.
However, we're 3 games away from promotion, get a sport psychologist into help, get Ayling back around the place, just anything to get some positivity and self belief.
We can dissect what happened what we need to do next, but right now, everything should focus on that first leg of play off, nothing else matters, forget about the season just gone, it's gone.
And finally, congratulations to Leicester and Ipswich, fully deserved, hugely consistent breaking records left right and centre, this was an outlier of a championship season.
Thoughts from today

I was at the game. Quite frankly Southampton we’re just better all round than we were.
Lads got a great reception at the final whistle. Hopefully that will touch a few nerves.

Ultimately the buck stops with the manager and as I've posted elsewhere I don't trust Farke's judgement anymore because he keeps repeating the same selection, tactical and substitution mistakes which has made the team so ineffective and weak mentality wise
which the play offs will highlight these weakness even further unless he makes radical changes.
When I look at Michael Skubala at Lincoln for example
and what an excellent job he's done there in such a short time, I would be more confident with him at the helm for the play offs than DF who I'm scratching my head to remember a more dramatic late collapse in form instigated by his judgement.
The midfield is far too lightweight and easy for the opposition to cut through and needs a complete rethink in the personnel being used in the engine room
We're conceding left right and centre so there's no
benefit anymore to Ampadu being used there and
whoever replaces him as long as there are 3 proper midfielders in front of the back 2 not including Rutter who should be eliminated from any thought of being used for the play offs in the midfield, then the team will have far more bite and effectiveness.
Rutter is a luxury that we can ill afford at this stage to waste a first team spot in midfield. The squad has a ridiculous amount of wide players which is what Rutter is so for me Summerville is one wide player and then take your pick from 5 others and choose one to play on the wing giving service to the centre forward who 100% should not be Piroe so that only leaves a choice between PB and Joseph.
Ipswich scored goals for fun all over the park and especially from the midfield which Leeds have not been able to replicate.
Like I say despite my scathing criticism of Farke I'll be watching the playoffs cheering the lads on but my expectations are pretty low with DF at the wheel and the owners will not be shy in getting a new driver sooner or later if the shocking run of results and performances carry on in the same vein.

My thoughts: we're nowhere near as good as the 49ers,
pundits, players, fans, think we are. We're living off of
headlines garnered under Bielsa. We'll struggle next
season if we don't win at Wembley.

Well Will Ferrell has made a serious investment evidently. Maybe if he turns up in his Elf suit we might get some luck 😏

I think DF will be sacked if we don't go up. Pity Ayling is not there to lift the lads in the dressing room
