# Foxello gets 5 bonus points: only player to score in Leicester v Blackburn match.

BONUSES
Please note that these are incomplete. Four players (Alcester Villain, Kenilworth Fox, Nuneaton Fox and Son of Villa) all offered final positions, goals scored and goal difference for Premier League teams. Additionally, six players will score bonuses depending on the result of the FA Cup final (Appleton, Fivefox, Foxello, Grimsby Grappler, Nuneaton Fox and True Blue - all going for Manchester City).

BONUSES EARNED TO DATE:
These relate to final league position, goals scored, goal difference, top Championship goal scorer, Championship winners and Runners up, the three teams relegated from the Championship and the FA Cup winners.

Nobody got Sammy Szmodics (27 goals). He’s some player. Wouldn’t mind seeing him playing for us next season. Can’t see him staying at Blackburn.

Several of us would have scored with Jamie Vardy if it had been based on minutes per goal (98), way ahead of the rest.

Many thanks for your efforts OWF!

Also to Appleton for bringing Mrs A in to the competition - the gift that never stops giving!

I've posted the following query on yesterday's game thread, but thought afterwards maybe there's more chance of someone responding on this one so I'll replicate it here (I didn't want to create a depressing article when today we should still be celebrating) - 'to continue the gloomy outlook, does anyone have an idea when we might find out about any FFP sanctions for next season?'

I'll also repeat the happier note I hope everybody attending today's parade has a great time!

They took for the Forest Case 9 Weeks from being charged but that is the fastest so far, we must be about half way to that by now if our charge still stands as it was with the erroneous portion about not providing our accounts to them,

Who know is the real answer but you'd expect it to be sometime in July in reality.

The other point of interest is that the EPL’s AGM is in June and it’s been suggested that they are likely to abandon the points deduction punishment, but it’s not certain, although it’s probably likely. It’s also unclear whether if carried, it will apply immediately or from the start of 2025/26.

I read the change would start for the 2025/26 Season.

Thanks Appleton and Nuneaton for your kind comments. Really appreciated. It has been an enjoyable pastime for me, but running two competitions simultaneously is not something I’d want to do again. Thank God we got promoted.
As for your worries about not achieving promotion Appleton, not sure the divisional diversion will continue next season; it doesn’t really reflect the accuracy of the players’ predictions.
When the final results are posted, I will also include an additional table without the divisional separation. You’ll be top!

It never did, but you set the rules at the start of the season OWF so you should stick by them.

The ongoing ensuing ongoing household war has been absolutely priceless, totally hilarious, a source of much amusement when bored with the football or depressed at the thought of Rudders still being in place next year. Although maybe Appleton might not agree wholeheartedly?

Completely agree with Nuneaton OWF, we are all happy to go with what works for you as we know that it can take a lot of time and effort to run it for us all.

As for the ‘state of my relationship with Mrs A’ after this season, it feels a bit like I am 99 and Mrs A is Rudkin!!!!
Mrs A has done a lot right this season but I cannot bring myself to publicly acknowledge this and will focus on the massive negative of ‘demanding to be a part of this league for the craic’
I mean FFS…… does she not realise that this is serious business, pride, knowledge are all skills that it takes to be a success.
And what do I get?
‘ well I don’t know how I am first I have just guessed’
WTAF……. If anybody is on Vinted then Mrs A will be listed on there very soon!!!!

I have the same issue with Kenilworth Fox, aka my mother in law, aged 93! She knows nothing about football although she has heard of Bobby Charlton and George Best. She mainly sticks to 2-1 scorelines and always opts for the teams her grandchildren support to win, as well as the team nearest to her place of birth! You couldn’t make it up!

Enjoyed this season

It seems that my Championship prediction knowledge is considerably better than my Premier League - I assume we will be keeping this two-league, Div 1/2 system in place next season?
