The miracle. Part 2

Around this time last year I wrote an article on here after we had comeback from 4-0 down after the first leg of the playoff against Peterborough. We scored 4 goals at home to take the tie to extra time and then had to come from behind again to take the game to penalties. Winning that game will live long in the memory. It was everything we love about football.

Fast forward 12 months and we swap playoff final ecstasy for staying up on the final day. We have just become the first team in Championship history to stay up after a 13 game winless start. We had 6 points after 17 matches and were 10 points from safety. Danny Rohl has worked absolute magic. Nothing short of incredible. He will be a top top manager one day. Its unlikely to be with us but we will enjoy him while we can. Hopefully our owner will recognise this and back him in the Summer. We can look forward to exciting times if he does.

We love football for days like yesterday and moments like that playoff comeback. Nothing comes close.
