Going off what Getafe's club president has said, United don't intend to let Greenwood return to the club:

Getafe hope to keep Manchester United's on-loan forward Mason Greenwood for another season, says club president Angel Torres.
Neither Getafe nor United expect the 22-year-old to return to his parent club.
"If it was up to the lad, his parents and the club, I think he would continue for another year," Torres told Spanish radio station Radio Marca on Tuesday.
Greenwood has scored 10 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Getafe, who are 10th in La Liga.
He joined Getafe on deadline day in September following an internal United investigation into his conduct that was triggered by the collapse of a legal case against him.
At the time United said it was better for Greenwood to play elsewhere and strongly hinted that he would not play for them again.
Torres said: "Regarding Manchester United, the news that we have from last week, where the sporting director went to England to see some games and was with them, is that, if a good offer comes along, they would want to sell because he is not going to go back there.
"We'll have to wait until the end of June. The people and the coach are very happy with him.
"I think he will remain with us for another season, or at least until January. He is a good footballer."
United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said in February that they have yet to make a decision on Greenwood's future.

If the decision has been made to get rid, which it looks like it has, then I really hope we can do a permanent deal in the summer. It would be good to get some money in to bolster the transfer war chest and also remove a distraction for the (likely) new incoming manager.

If brands (and fans) really cared about what athletes got up to off the field, the NFL would be bankrupt.
How much is CL qualification worth, because £100m + that is already the cost of losing Greenwood.

In the real world Greenwood has lost multiple sponsors due to the scandal and several of United's own sponsors released statements saying that they are/were monitoring the situation.
As for not having Greenwood costing us a CL spot - really? You think that he would have made the difference this season? Even a focused and fully fit Greenwood wouldn't have fired us to the CL in my opinion. One that was under the spotlight and receiving abuse every week would have struggled even more.
And how did we manage to qualify for the CL last season without him?
A pretty ill-thought-out comment all round really.

A lot of news in the papers this morning regarding Greenwood, with Juve, Napoli and Atletico all apparently interested. Getting more hopeful that we will get a decent fee for him this summer.

Missed this over the weekend. Opposition fans chanting for Greenwood to die. Would be magnified 10 fold if he comes back to united.
