As the season draws to a close it's time once again to look where the team can improve for next season. With some sort of European campaign ahead next year and are appalling record for picking up injuries we need quality to replace underperforming first team players but also short comings in the squad in general.
Would be good to name names not just positions if possible, makes it more interesting.
For me then..
Ins
Raphina from Barcelona to play RW - £40-50m
PROS, Pacey, direct, technique, stamina much more end quality than Johnson. Prem experience
Cons. Injury prone, little lightweight.
Toney Brentford CF 50m
Pros. As close as Kane as we'll get. Good in air, brings others into game, good technique, pen taker, fairly quick, adds much needed height and English!
Cons: Attitude (he's a idiot).
Gibbs-White - forest £50m
Pros: good technician, good workrate, free kick taker, versatile,English
Cons: discipline, defensive responsibility
Hudson-Odoi - Forest £unknown. Pacey, direct, good dribbler, good crosser, good technician, can score outside the box.
Cons: attitude been a prob on past
Rabiot Juventus CM - Free
Pros: technically excellent, box to box, tackles well, good passing range.
Cons: attitude in earlier years was questionable.
Ross Barkley Cm/AMC Free - excellent season in poor side, good technician, strong, passes well. Can play all through midfield. English.
Cons: one paced, Injury prone, needs regular games to get best out of him.
Dumfries RB/RWB/RW Inter - £Unknown
Pros: Pacey, strong, stamina, versatile, Decent in the air. Tackles well, good on overlap.Dynamic.
Cons: technically inconsistent in final third.
Antonee Robinson - Fulham LB £30m
Pros: lightening quick, superb workrate, stamina, consistent performer. Tall, prem experience.
Cons. Inconsistent with delivery, doesn't score many.
Branthwaite - Everton LCB. £Unknown
Pros: similar profile to VDV, very tall, monster in the air, left footed, quick, prem experience and English. Also good attacking set plays
Back up keeper with better technical attributes and decent on crosses would also be good.
We have Bergvall on his way in as well which could add some technical expertise to the midfield but will wait and see on him.
Outs
Forster - age, not good enough on ball. Free
Seas - Injury Prone and bang average. Free
Reggy - I don't think he's as bad as made out and had a good spell at Brentford. But doesn't suit th style. £10m
Royal - one of the worst players to wear a spurs shirt. Completely inept technically. No brain. £20-25m (amazingly)
Davies - Top chap professional but too slow, poor in the air and now injury prone. £10m
Skipp - Tries is heart out and spurs lad but not up to the standard in any part of his game. £10m
Tanganga - as above. Not sure who'd take him for good money £4m
Lo Celso - technically good. Small, slow, injury prone and inconsistent. Not dynamic at all £8
Gil - lightweight to the extreme. Too weak for this league although I'd like to have seen him play a no.10 more. £15m
Hojberg - solid player and wouldn't be upset if he stayed. One paced, poor ok the half turn and doesn't fit through system. £15m
Ndombele - what more can you say, worst signing in our history, worst attitude I've ever seen. £8m (if we're lucky)
Spence (loan) - has some good attributes but attitude stinks. Done ok on loan I believe.
Richy - torn on this one. Do we keep him as back up or will he disrupt. More games next season and should do ok against lower half teams. £50m
Kulu - I've seen enough. Slow, poor decision making, average technically. Doesn't score enough or even assist now.
Outs and Ins Next season...

A lot keep mentioning Toney, I wonder if they have watched us play this season, peak Defoe would be ideal

So we need a striker not a winger?
Both imo and would keep son unless really good money comes in for him as he will be 32 soon and have to move on at some stage

He’ll leave on a free after levy milked every little sponsorship money out of him.

But stupid really

I’d go two wingers and rotate Richy & Son as strikers as and when they are needed.
Ie ( I doubt we’d sign these players though )
LW - Williams, Son, Solomon
ST - Richy, Son
RW - Olise, Johnson, Kulusevski

What full backs out there to do the job? Think a more passive one who can stay back and not leave us exposed would be good
The full backs into midfield thing seems to work only if only one does it right and basically the other makes it a back three
Kinda what city and gooners do init

Genuinely not sure but Dougherty from Luton looked great as a normal pushed on LB

Hopefully our first xi can stay more fit and we can make some more good signings like last summer and finish one better and do better in comps
