United Players feigning injury for Euros

Wayne Rooney speaking to Sky Sports thinks some players are feigning injury in preparation for the Euros or FA Cup final.

A big accusation if you ask me. How true do we think that is?

Obviously Rooney knows more about what goes on in the dressing ro better than any of us ever will so do we reckon he's right in saying that?

If so, who do we think are the players saying they're too poorly to play a couple of matches before the end of the season?

Dont you know who he is? He is a famous Scottish footballer who won loads at Liverpool.

He is also claiming he knows of United players feigning injury from a relaible source. He and Rooney could be lying... or telling the truth. You know as much as I do, so you cant rule out either senarios.

Only injured players going to the Euros are Bruno, Lindelof, Slabhead and Shaw.

Bruno has only ever missed 3 games his entire career, Shaw has been out for months and I don’t see the other 2 doing that. Think Rooney is talking nonsense.

I do know who he is hence why I called him "sourness" for a reason!

Why would Rooney be lying now? I would understand Sourness because he hates Utd, why Rooney?

And yes, we are both speculating so who knows what the truth is but this squad has form in terms of not performing for managers, I have zero trust in them!

Even more reason why it doesn't make any sense, I guess. Shaw and Rashford in particular need to be back ASAP as both are in serious danger of missing out on the the Euros as it stands.

The only player I can think of is Martial, maybe. There's been something off with the way his latest lay-off has been handled (it stretches all the way back to the Bayern game in Decemeber). Malacia too. But I think those two are probably more psychological issues rather than simply not being arrsed to play.

For what it's worth I still think Rooney's were throwaway, non-specific comments. Souness I don't know.

How is this thread still going?

Rooney wasn’t talking about any individual and he wasn’t claiming to know that any particular player is feigning injury.

He’s just saying that based on what he’s seen before, some of those out injured could probably play if they really wanted to.

This isn’t difficult.
