So Arsenal fans will be supporting Liverpool tomorrow night - villa not winning would give Spurs an incentive to beat City to keep our slim top 4 hopes alive
But even if not, we must show respect for the integrity of the league. We have to be responsible and professional
For the sake of the league and actually, our sport in general
We have to lose to City
We must show respect

A draw tonight would mean you have to win both games whereas a loss means a win draw and big swing on GD.
CL or Europa? Which do you want?
City haven't done well at yours in recent times, they need to win and so do you, should be a belter.

The honest answer is we are in no way ready as a squad to be in the CL. Lots of new blood is required for us to be able to look anywhere near serious else we will be out in the group stages and remember there's no falling down to the Europa league next season.
We will in no way invest far enough to become competitive enough to play in the league and CL. Least in Europa or Conf you can blood some of the youth and lesser squad players in a lot of the Euro games.
It is a real conundrum.

When you put it like that it isn't a conundrum. It makes total sense.

Not only do we not look ready for CL but we don't really deserve top 4. Villa deserve it. Even if we were to sneak into top 4 past them, we got lucky with that Liverpool game at home.
Europa is about where we belong and it's probably a good taster of European football at Spurs for Ange. CL is him being thrown in at the deep end and if we we were to play anything like we have been, in that competition next season, with our naive defending and poor attacks, we'd get absolutely embarrassed.

All jokes and rivalries aside, the integrity of the sport is important and we can’t forget that. You can’t really have teams losing on purpose because it harms another team.
But I’m sure our motivation will be all about whether we can get 4th or not. If we can’t, then I can’t see the players having enough motivation to beat city who themselves will be hell bent on winning
Ange has said for a while that 4th isn’t his target etc etc so it would be a bit annoying for all of a sudden 4th is the target and we pull out the stops to help Arsenal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ange hasnt changed anything Our goal is to do the best that we possibly can. That is now 4th but a month or 2 ago, it could have been even higher. Basically we have not set a limit on our goals

that article had it right: part of being a fan is to support your team and hate on your rivals. Our success and Arsenals failure are intrinsically linked. Its not small time to want to lose tomorrow at all.
Theres been fans saying our first 10 games were a fluke and we’re lucky cos we are a midtable side, who are now saying they hope we get 4th. And they dont care about Arsenal winning the league. Make it make sense.

Table doesn't lie mate. If we get 4th its because we deserved to, not because of some lucky moment (we've had plenty of unlucky moments).
Stop viewing Spurs through the lens of the last couple months. We were absolutely brilliant for the for couple months. Find some balance and accept that we are a work in progress that will hopefully strengthen this summer, and progress more next season.

Sometimes the table does lie though. Some teams can be luckier than others with decisions etc. Look at Wolves.
We got away with it in the Liverpool game and it wasn't just your run of the mill lucky decision either.
Anyway, I feel it's academic as we won't gain enough points. The worst outcome would be if we were to draw with City, therefore handing Arsenal the title and scuppering our own chances of top 4.
