Rubbish. I said at the time I would lose the Europa final to Chelsea if it meant Spurs didn’t win the CL and I don’t regret it today in the slightest

I remember this article at the time and you saying this. City all the way for me tomorrow, and I think some posters above aren’t being completely honest when they say otherwise.

I can take us not qualifying for the CL, we’d never win it anyway.

Although to caveat, if we were in a major final and Arsenal were too, and it was a choice of neither of us winning or both, I’d choose both. Anything else is just weird.

Makes me laugh that fans keep seeing another club not winning as some sort of trophy. Need to take our chance to compete against the best clubs, increase revenue and attract better players which will aid us in our aim for silverware. Spurs to win tonight please.

Yea, all those previous CL qualifications have really pushed us on to trophies

Top 4 is not a trophy.

Why is anybody talking about Spurs beating City? If City turn up and play as they have recently, with the way Spurs play it’ll be an absolute hammering even if they are trying to win.
