Still been a solid performanc in the league

As soon as we lost to Villa, City were always going to go on and win the league.

We have taken it to the final day with no real recognised striker. Yes, Jesus and havertz are not real strikers.

If anything, that area needs to be addressed in the summer

The pool fans did warn us and now we have faced the machine that is City full on for the last 2 seasons.

We need to do better in the cups but we will come again next season and challenge City once more

There's a very strong and solid base now with the defense + Rice in front, so every transfer from now on has to be spot on or a major hit (for the 70m+ ones) if you see the parallels with how Liverpool beat City from a similar position.

The only key difference is that Liverpool 'lucked out' by starting out with an incredible offense with Salah/Mane, which are the toughest positions to buy quality in. I don't see any immediate improvements for the centre forward position, unless we get Kane from Bayern but that might be a bit sensitive transfer...

You don't see any improvements on Havertz or Jesus?

No honestly the guys who are available are just sidegrades, trading better finishing for worse link up play or work rates. I also don't really rate Toney at a top 4 side as the primary striker, but will gladly eat my words if he actually comes and outperform :P

Arsenal have improved from last season but let's get the right:

City would win the league with a maximum of 91 points - only 2 points better than last year. The best team they've beaten this season are finishing 4th.

You really think City will get roughly that amount of points or less next season? You really think City will not get more wins against the top half sides than they did this season?

Arsenal are gonna have to raise their standards even higher just to take it to the final day next season, let alone win it.

City have probably got a fair bit more work to do in the summer than Arsenal. De Bruyne, Walker, Bernardo Silva, Kovacic all past their best and a few will probably need to be replaced. Doku is utter shiiite, and feels like Pep is over Grealish. They need to solve their big game problem which to me feels like Haaland, usually lives in the pockets of good defenders.

With that being said, Pep is brilliant at it so yeah will be another 90 point season I'm sure.

Pep said: we have to win the next 9 games otherwise "ciao ciao".
Arsenal fans: "YES, WELL DONE ARSENAL " after parking the bus for a 0-0 draw.

Different gravy.

I can't believe you're still crying over that lmao.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're strange. Why would you think I'm crying?
That non-event is one of the reasons why the league table is as it is. Have you checked it yet? lmao.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because you're keeping on that's why you oddball.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And that's crying? Are you emotionally fragile?

You are asking ME am I emotionally fragile???

For the last time:

My comment was based on my opinion that if Arteta and *some* of your fan base had had a more positive angle into the Etihad game, you *might* be ahead in the league and yesterday's game wouldn't really have mattered in the end. At the time, you were the league's top scorers, and still the best defence. Yes, you *might* have lost, but we will never know. It's just my opinion.

There were some comments about Liverpool at the Etihad. At least they tried. Same with us at Anfield. At least we tried.

Again, I have no beef with Arsenal nor any of its fans. If you win it on Sunday, then you deserve it.

You being so attached to my opinion suggests that you see some weight to what I said.

It's unfair to say we should have gone for a win at Etihad. We had adapt and play differently there. Had we played usual game, would have benefited City and they could have won that game ! That game honestly had no bearings on PL title. It was essential to come out without losing the game.

Why is this mancwoohoo so obsessed with that draw and thinks that cost us the title? It didn't. The defeat to Villa is what cost us. I don't know if he is just on the WUM constantly bringing it up time and time again.

Don't worry, I won't mention this ever again next season. Hopefully Arteta will build on this if he misses out on Sunday.
