Next season looks a good time to be in Europa. No Champions League drop-outs, no 5th best German/Italian sides, and the Swiss model format being used.
Tonight obviously is a big night for Manchester United, Newcastle United and Chelsea - with the latter 2 still in with a chance of 5th. Man Utd have the FA Cup final and the Europa place that goes with it.
One will miss out on Europe altogether, while another is likely to be in the Conference. The third, though, will surely be a favourite for it.
For Newcastle and Chelsea to be even with a shout for it at this stage is something of a miracle. Chelsea were 16 points behind Spurs just 8 games ago while both were hanging around mid table all season.
Man Utds 2 wins in 11 has opened the door.
Chelsea only have one loss in 13 - the 5-0 to Arsenal when Cole Palmer sat out.
Newcastle have 6 wins in the last 10.
10th placed Brighton play a big part in this. They face Chelsea tonight and then Man Utd in the last game. Chelsea host Bournemouth on Sunday while Newcastle finish at Brentford following their trip to Old Trafford tonight.
Good luck to all, the rewards could be big!

Made a similar article a week or so ago. The Europa looks very weak next year compared to recent years. Chances are the best sides in it will be Spurs, Chelsea, Roma, Frankfurt, Bilbao, Braga - then a lot of cannon fodder. Fiorentina could be a threat also, if they beat Olympiacos.
Spurs and Chelsea should fancy going very far (if they take it seriously) as they can’t play each other until the Quarters. Both should finish top 8 in the group stage which gets them to the last 16 without playing the first KO round and then they are very likely to be drawn against any of the better sides in the last 16.
The quarters onwards will of course ramp up in difficulty, but I can see at least one of Spurs/Chelsea making the semis.
