Arsenal have suffered some stinkers such as the Brentford offside where the ref "forgot" to draw the lines, or when Aussie caaant Jarred Gillett disallowed a Sokratis goal for absolutely no reason.
Liverpool had the infamous offside error against Spurs among others.
Wolves and Brighton have had several clear errors go against them.
Not debatable or subjective calls, but clear and obvious errors.
However, when it comes to Manchester City I can't think of any even slightly contentious errors go against them. All VAR debate in their games seem to always be when they have benefited, such as the clear offside goal, the Doku kung-fu kick...
So my request is can someone please enlighten me. There must be some, just no-one talks about them...
VAR controversies...

I have remembered one though, the offside Rashford goal. But was that VAR or the rules that were a mess?
United, Spurs and Villa seem to benefit most.

"Arsenal have suffered some stinkers"
I stopped reading after this

Worst affected by VAR out of the 'big 6'

I’m not sure that’s true but regardless, that doesn’t mean they’re errors

The ones mentioned were definitely errors. Not even up for debate.

I actually agree DJ, just seems to be a theme that GAR decisions are always bad, and they’re not. More often than not they’re correct.

Yeah, but this was more about the actually wrong calls, not subjective ones. You had one ruled out for offside that was wrong and we heard the audio to prove it, we had one scored against us which was proven offside but the VAR didn't draw the lines and got sacked, for example.

Yep, I can’t think of a single one.
The handball vs Everton the other season could be called subjective I guess but it’s as bad a call as I’ve ever seen and it cost us the league.
I’d say the same about the Doku challenge also. Just awful decisions that are exceptionally hard to see how they’ve come to that conclusion and in no way, whatsoever, are consistent.
It’s stuff like this which is why no-one cares if City win stuff.

That can’t be the worst call you’ve seen VAR give surely? Had they thought it was a penalty they’d have then checked Richarlisons offside anyway.

Worst decision this year is without doubt the BLATENT....I say BLATENT hand ball by Grealish whilst in the wall in the box for the free kick v Chelsea in the cup semi
He clearly took his hand to the ball to deflect it away...& we never even got a fackin corner let alone a penalty....VAR had exactly the same view we did & failed to act

Odegaard playing basketball in the penalty area is one that comes to mind…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Against Man City? against Liverpool wasn't an error, it was a natural movement for someone falling
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fvck off was it
----------------------------------
and there lies the whole VAR debate, ever
things very subjective,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Subjective yes but not too many would say that's not handball. He literally swiped his hand towards the ball. Webb came out after it saying the game would expect handball is given, of course it would.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, the PGMOL came out afterwards and stated it should have been a penalty and was the incorrect decision...

Forget the offside, that’s digressing, I’m talking about not giving the below as a handball. It’s insane.

How is not handball melts? Anything will do.
