Unfortunately (or more likely, fortunately!!) I forgot all about the England/Denmark game and so have not had the pleasure/annoyance of watching it or even highlights. Something needs to change and fast, by all accounts.
Disappointed that we have yet to sign anyone (other than new technical staff) while Burton seem to be adopting a scattergun approach. Truth is I would far rather a considered and careful approach. Some of the names being bandied about, while interesting, seem unlikely as someone used to Prem wages is not really in our ballpark.
Question - is anyone in our merry group now on the Fans' board at the Club?

I too don't have the slightest interest in this competition Chicago. I think Jorvik watched it accompanied by some beers it seems. The logical Board member from this group would be View I'd say....although I can see some merit in having Spart on there....

....re new signings I've heard it said we're waiting for the new kit / shirt sponsor before announcing them....but really...who knows.....

That seems a bit extreme if true Terry. Get on with announcing say I!
I wouldn't say I'm not interested in the competition but right now it's hard to get enthused.

I was hoping we would sign Foden...but not now, I think he's poor.

International football leaves the nation depressed at the best of times. Unless Southgate stops fielding three RBs in the side we're going to remain disgruntled.
I'd be more worried if we haven't signed anyone by the time the preseason games start. Like to bring a positive spin to the thread but unfortunately not on this post. Omari Kellyman, once of Derby, is leaving Aston Villa for Chelsea in a £19 million deal.
Derby County sold him for the paltry sum of £600k. Three or four seasons ago when our administration season was about to start. I know Chelsea are also interested in an ex Derby County LB currently in Belgium and looking to pay a similar figure.
I suspect once Eze or Olise leave Palace they'll be paying a healthy sum to Plymouth for Whittaker. Who was in a repeating theme an ex Derby County player.

It is rumoured we get 25% of any sell-on fee for Kelly an. I haven't seen it confirmed but if true that's close to 5 million in the kitty. I know Quantuma sold off Kaide Gordon's sell-on clause for peanuts to pay a bill but I'm hoping it isn't true of others like Kellyman and Delap. Could make a big difference to our prospects.

Reading something similar, I'd be incredibly surprised if under the Administration team we've managed to keep that signing on fee intact for Kellyman and not accepted some ridiculous deals like we did for Gordon. ( Not in the Derby Way of doing transfers)
Not sure we'll be getting £5 in the transfer kitty in one go as Chelsea will most likely agree an installment over three years to pay off the figure and stay in line with the FFP rules.

Saw most of the Slovenia game - a bit like watching paint dry. Southgate however can justifiably claim "job done - into next round and top of the group." Much better when he made changes but still waiting for Eze.
Getting twitchy about our lack of signings so far. Pre-season must be imminent as Cardiff for example have already started.

According to Derbys Live there is a Kellyman sell-on clause at between 10 to 15%. Very useful indeed! As someone else said let's hope we have similar for Delap!!
