I'm incredibly bias on this issue but I genuinely do not think pochettino did a very good job this season and I don't think he would have earned a second contract next season

It’s difficult to really judge given Chelsea are such a shiiiiitshow of a club.
They were awful in the first half of the season and good in the second half. Seems a bit daft to sack him once things were starting to gel somewhat.
But this Chelsea ownership are daft, so it’s not surprising. Will be interesting to see how McKenna does there next season. I give him until December.

I hope McKenna says no to them. The step up is too big, needs to find a club that's a slight step up from Ipswich before moving to a big club. It would be a blot on a very good CV.

I hate that caaant so I would be horrified if he came back
but even if I was trying to be level headed about I would say no - I didn't want him last summer

Oh wow, didn't expect that from a Spurs. I always thought you guys worshipped the ground he stood on, clearly not.
Any reason why you hold this opinion? Asking for a friend who worships him.

Why do people seem to be getting excited over De Zebri. Brighton were pants. Scored less than us and conceded more.

Well said!

Ornstein stating it could be one to watch and also Poch met Ineos for the Nice job. (He'd get the horrible one at United).

Poche is leaving Chelsea because he wants more say in transfers.
….
This is against what he was like at Spurs. All he wanted to do there was coach.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe he thinks he can offer more post Spurs?

I don't think it goes that far.
The fact is that Chelsea need to balance the books to avoid a points deduction. The easiest way to do that is to sell homegrown players, but these are players that Poch wanted to build his team around.
That's not the same as saying that Poch wants more say on transfers. What it means is that ultimately both parties have a different idea on the future of the club.

Every time you think Chelsea can't get any more facking stupid it does. Aside from the fact that Poch was doing ok with the mess he was given, how much is it going to cost them to replace him? Any manager with half a reputation is going to demand an absolute ton of money to go there.

Classic Chelsea.
Sacking a manager who’d got his team on title winning form, including some big results and decent performances against the top sides.
Some might say it was idiotic.
Unless, Barca or Bayern could be knocking for Poch? That would at least make sense.

It must be depressing for Chelsea fans knowing your owner wants to sell your young homegrown talent who actually have a connection to the club and care simply becasue they make 100% profit in sales and can be replaced with unknown talent from abroad who don't care as much.

Maybe we can buy Conor Gallagher for Poch and complete the troll cycle
