I'd like to think if it is Hoeness then agreement to join has already been wrapped up behind the scenes.
Claims that new head coach will be announced this week or early next-week suggests the groundwork approval has been done weeks in advance.

Certainly makes sense why the club didn't even bother triggering Poch' one-year option, which one would expect should have been activated weeks months ago if the intention was to keep him in position.
