Also, managers and teams have bad seasons, this may have just been Ten Hahs bag season. We’ve certainly had our share of bad luck.

Don't think it's just this season. We've been pretty awful since winning the Carabao Cup. We stumbled over the line into CL. If the season had gone on for another few weeks we'd have been in big big trouble as we had totally fallen off.

Something isn't right with the coaching set up. After two years we should be watching more coherent football than what is being served up.

Our season largely derailed due to Rashfords lack of form and losing our defensive partnership who had largely been fantastic for the whole season. As we know, outside of our preferred 11 or 12, the drop off in quality and shared attributes is huge. The squad is thin.

Even this season, when Martinez played you could see a difference, 3/4 starters could change the team.

I agree with the last statement, but again have sympathy as we've only fielding our best 11 once all season.

This was ETH second year. Its a squad game now, i dont think having a thin squad and injuries is a valid reason after 2 big summer transfer spends.

NUFC and Chelsea both had horrendous injuries this season and turned it around. May be their upturn in form coincided with players coming back but when United had less injuries, their form wasnt great. Your start to the season was poor despite having most players available. And its a second season in a row where you gaol scoring has been in the 50s, comfortably the worst in the top 6 and last season you had an in form Rashford. This points to more than missing or poor form of individuals.

I don't think you understand the extent of the injury list. Over 65, some including months on the side line for starters including Shaw, Martinez, Casemiro, Martial left us with one striker, Mount missed essentially the whole season, Mainoo was out for the first half of the season, I could go on.

Not to mention Sancho left mid season (maybe the managers fault?) and Greenwood was pulled from the squad last minute.

No manager in football was getting this squad in the CL.

We had several.key players out at any 1 time.throughout the season, plus others.

For large periods we have had no LB, been forced to use Jonny Evans at CB, Casemiro, Mount barely featuring.

14 different CB combinations and 31 overall defensive combinations I think.

Jackson has actually been pretty good this season and his style has complimented Palmer well while also scoring and assisting quite a bit. Thiago Silva is Chelsea's first choice CB and has also been very good this season. Cucurella isn't that bad, even so, he isn't playing regularly for Chelsea I don't think. Not really sure what this has to do with United and 3 of EtH's 7 signings being out for pretty much all of the season though.
