Somebody had a lightbulb moment

Its only a small gesture regarding the reduction of ticket prices for the Hull City match, it shows that the club (aka Don Rowing) is begining to realise the times are hard, and football clubs throughout the country are losing fans.

This offer from the club is for a reduction of £7 for an adult ticket for the Hull game, on production of the ticket stub from the Bristol City game.
Personally I dont think it will make a huge difference to the attendance, as £53 quid is a fair chunk out of a wage packet, but at least its a start in the right direction.
Just looking elsewhere Portsmouth have an offer of 2 adult tickets plus 2 kids tickets at £44 quid for their game with Doncaster, maybe we could make a similar offer for one of our home games.

Yes - anything that reduces the cost a bit and encourages more to come and watch will be helpful

what about all games £19 (see what ive done there DON it less than £20)
midweek games £15 (see what ive done there DON an incentive to rush home from work)
these pricers still make it worth having a season ticket for those that can afford one, but are priced so that one off visits look good too
kids a quid upto senior school
then a fiver upto leaving school

GOD ITS SO EASY

Except it's not...cos folk are not turning out for the cheaper games...The existence of the club is, I'm afraid, dependent on ripping off visiting supporters.

I don't wish to be rude but this is yet an unwarranted and unjustified attack on DR. We've been through this time and time again; there is no evidence that any of the initiatives so far have increased the number of fans at games or increased revenues. We all know that Football is too expensive, and I think we know the reasons why, but it would be futile and probably stupid for BFC to initiate a new age of low ticket prices.
The choice is, simply, entrance prices relate to the level at which ones team plays and if we wish to stay at this level then we have to charge similar prices to our competitors.
It's pointless to scapegoat DR who is just doing his job, but I understand many of you want to blame somebody because things aren't going as you like! Get real, life ain't fair!

Don Rowing is in a position at the club, where he will be shot at. Most of the PR muck ups over the last few years have been his instigation. Nothing gets released to the media without his authority, so Bang Bang, missed the blighter.
I know lifes not fair, I aint got a job, but I've got a season ticket...

When DR does something worthy of praise, he will recieve due praise, meanwhile I'll keep me hands in my pocket.

Since when have the club re-defined OAPs as over 65s - since it has been over 60 until now? I had better keep quiet as my season ticket is classed as OAP and I am 62 - I just renewed it at the end of last season. Does that mean next season I will have to pay full whack - because I won't be able to afford to?

Since the Tories decided that the lower classes should work till they drop...

But as an existing OAP ST holder you'll be ok if you keep renewing said ticket.
