Mainoo seems to be a tad like what Wilshere used to be for us. Everyone thought he was MOTM every game even when the likes of Fabregas, Cazorla, Rosicky, Nasri, Ramsey etc were better than him. Talented local lad breaking through tends to come with a lot of hype.

Wislhere was genuinely so consistent, and showed up more than others every game that year except a couple or so.
