What would you do with Luke Shaw?
Great player when fit, but just picks up too many injuries to be relied upon.
Given his age, injury record and wage, I can’t see there being many takers for him this window, but I wouldn’t want to go into the season with just him and Malacia as our LB options.
Personally, I’d sell Malacia, sign a LB for the first 11 and keep Shaw as a back up LB and CB.

I agree. Can’t see many takers for Malacia either though.

Depends on what his injury / illness he had.
Undoubtedly a player in there if he can stay fit, but too big a gamble for a United at the moment.
Maybe a loan to prove himself would work.

Is there? Looked pretty average tbh.
As you say, Luke Shaw can't be relied on, Dalot has done okay at LB though.

It's the most difficult position on the field to play.
Trust me on that.
Shaw is very good in this specialist role - one of uniteds few more accomplished players.
Dalot is a crap rb and an even worse lb.
The club needs to either keep Shaw fit, and work very hard in the summer to find back up for him. Or just simply find better than Shaw.
And the latter would be a far more difficult option.
Whatever option they choose - indeed, they could choose both - they really have to somehow lose Dalot. He just can't defend, and that's just not what a serious league campaign needs.
