Just under 3 weeks until Scotland get the European Championships started against host nation Germany. There will be a lot of talent on show across the tournament, and some of the highest rated youngsters will be hoping to impact.
Jude Bellingham is Englands great young hope, with the expectation he will join Harry Kane at the top of the goalscoring charts. If he can impact on this tournament, and in Saturdays Champion League final, Bellingham would be very much in the Balon d'Or discussions. Kobbie Mainoo may also play a key role as England hope to go one better than 3 years ago.
The hosts have two very talented kids - Florian Wirtz comes into the tournament on the back of an invincible domestic campaign. Jamal Musiala had a disappointing club season but will hope to inspire his country to glory. His team-mate Aleksander Pavlovic was a surprise choice in the squad ahead of more experienced players.
France have Eduardo Camavinga among their very talented squad. Bradley Barcola and Warren Zaire-Emery will also hope for a chance to shine, but may have to do so from the bench.
Portugals next "big thing" looks to be Joao Neves, who has had a great personal season with Benfica. Francisco Conceicao will hope to surpass his father, who has a Euros hat-trick to his name as he helped Portugal to the semi finals.
Xavi Simons grew up in the Barca academy before moving to PSG and impressing at PSV and Leipzig. He is one of the Netherlands stand-out players already, and will be key to their attack this summer.
Spain could bring an under 18 or 2 to the tournament with both Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi in contention, although Nico Williams may be the 21& under in the squad who will be expected to make the biggest impact. Pedri has had a difficult club season, with injuries disrupting much of it. He will hope he has a better summer.
Outside the favourites, Turkish and Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz will be hoping to impress in the country of his birth. Benjamin Sesko plays his club football in Germany, and will look to enhance his reputation as he represents his nation Slovenia.
There are probably others, and not all prelim squads have been announced yet.

Best 21 and under at Euro 24?

I’m surprised you left out António Silva for Portugal given he keeps being linked with Arsenal (and many others).
If Pepe isn’t fit he’ll start alongside Dias, and he’s an outstanding talent.

Only thing I really recall about Silva is his red card about 10 minutes into the CL.
Mad that Pepe is still first choice really - maybe I will do best 40+ year olds 😂
