Surely the Premier league must be thinking well either you're guilty (in which case you can f4ck off to the National League), or because youre suing us you can f4ck off and go play in La Liga or wherever?
The cheats have killed the PL. Now they want to try and taste it's corpse.
Or maybe a better analogy is they want to play innocent victim
City suing the league it's in

United could have done it ages ago to the detriment of the rest of the league. The vote is a democratic system that controls excesses by any one club and the question should be whether City's complaint should not be dismissed prima facie

I don’t think City will win this one either way, but still.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look, I get you're a Manchester City fan before this whole take over. You're a person thats supported your club through from your beginning and you have never waivered. And I get that right now your club that you've always followed isn't yet guilty of anything, so you are well in your rights to defend your club.
I think you're a good poster and you're more reasonable than I am. But from my point of view this club has morphed into something that doesn't sit right.
I see Spurs, how close they got to winning the champions league in 2019, to winning the league in 2016. That is a club who yeah never wins much but they were so close. And had they won those trophies it might have elevated them to another level of success (and we'd have more sandy on 606), but the way they almost got there or hypothetically did win them cups none of us could begrudge them. They'd have done it the way LFC or Arsenal have always done it. I believe United have done it the same as Arsenal & Liverpool but for whatever reason United is seen as 'bigger' because for whatever reason we just have more supporters world wide.
I think you're the type of person that understands why so many people are thinking 'what the hell?' to this news (like me), but I can see why at the moment you feel the need to defend your club
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just to be clear, I don’t see any of what I’ve said as defending the club aside from debunking really obviously false narratives about factual elements of either case. If they’re found guilty of the original charges, I’ve already said they deserve to be punished to the biggest possible amount.
In terms of the compared to other clubs stuff, that’s way too big to respond to in one post. The only thing I would say about it though is City don’t end up with the owner we’ve got now if it wasn’t for the actions of those clubs and personally I’d give it all up if the entire of football could revert to pre eighties ownership, regulation and distribution of wealth within the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Distribution of wealth, like shared TV revenues, instead of negotiating our own?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s one example. I know City and other clubs in the PL argued for their own negotiation, I’m completely against it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is by far the biggest earner for most clubs.

This makes no sense. The case is about new rules that were only implemented three years ago, it’s got nothing to do with the charges brought against City.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst it won't help their case as it's different time periods, I'd suggest it has everything to do with it. Do you think they would have brought this case if they weren't being investigated by the PL?

City really pushed the panic button. A desperate last attempt to get some charges dropped because with 115 the only Premier League they've got a hope of playing in his the Northern one.
They know, we know. It's over, this is desperation tactics because they've got nothing else.
