Awful England performance...again

It makes me laugh the BBC pundits ignoring the big white elephant of the reason England served up another limp lettuce performance... scarred shytlesss to offend their nice politicially correct friend who they regularly mix with no doubt at posh football events and such like but unfortunately GS is and always will be far too much of a safe eddy with a dull far too cautious brand of football that negates England's abundance of attacking potential....painful to watch and so predictable.

Palmer will face the same problems all the other technical players are facing in the rigid set up. Bowen is more likely to work with pace and running being his game.

Look at how Spain do it.

Two wide men who hold their width. Creates space for Pedri and Morata to dovetail.

Palmer, Foden are both penetrative attackers around the striker who rely on others to hold possession. And as such, they need a 4-1-4-1 formation. Neither can recycle the ball like Pedri does. So if you put them in a no.10 they will not hold the ball while his teammates are able to step up to hold the ball in the opponent's half.

As a manager, Southgate absolutely sucks!!
