As expected Jack Harrison joins Everton on a season long loan.
Congratulations Paraag Marathe for turning a £20m transfer deadline deal with Leicester City into a potential free transfer. The self proclaimed contract king. The only way we ever get a fee is if we get promoted by the looks of it.
Full wages at Everton. Half wages to stay at Leeds. It’s a shame that money is usually the driving force in football these days.

Done deal - Harrison

Did we not buy Harrison in his third season with us?..
Strange, maybe these deals we have with others started with him, they might be a City thing and we only heard of them when we fell foul to them!..
Oh and the correction Police, is that rules is rules?..
Or rules are rules?..

I definitely know he wouldn't. Strength in depth.

We all feel frustrated about the contract situation and I think Marathe would admit he has a lot to learn. But Harrison gave us some priceless moments, Notably Brentford away just two years ago. Also, the Leicester transfer fiasco was not his fault and you can understand how it might have turned him against us. Ray Charles said it best of all: Hit the road, Jack, and never come back, no more, no more, no more, no more...

No bitterness at all towards Harrison. Club doesn’t deserve any loyalty at all from him the way he was messed around. Also, If you don’t want him to go on loan, don’t include a loan clause in his contract.
On the other hand he’s not a player that would be as valuable to us trying to get promoted as a bottom half prem side. Feel his strengths suit a side that’s less dominant on the ball and not up against a low block every week.
His mums comments were obviously bitter but he’s her son and was treated poorly by the club and social media fans too tbh.
I just hope we are in the division above Everton in 2025 anyway

For fecks sake, learn to spell the guy's name it's Summerville. Show him a bit of respect.

Feck ain't the correct spelling either 🤣

I missed the apostrophe out didn't I? 🤣
This guy really winds me up. He goes to every game, season ticket holder I think. Probably buys a programme and I can see him sitting there reading it, Summerville, who the hell's he. Half the matches Crysencio Jilbert Sylverio Cirro Summerville will be a featured player. How difficult is it?
Does he do it with anyone else.
Gninti, perhaps?
Just needs to concentrate more.

Only plays half a season at most. Did for us, same for Everton. Not likely to get any better, personally think we've had his best years.
My concern with Jack is that we will come up at the end of this season and he will still be our player and he will still be our player with another 2 years of his contract left to run, still inconsistent and Everton will not want him. 28 and not getting any younger.
We should have got shot when Leicester wanted to buy him.
