Turning our attentions (well mine) away from England, the other side of the draw sees France, Portugal, Spain and Germany all bumping into each other. Denmark are definitely over that side and Romania in my opinion are nailed on for that side also. That leaves 2 3rd place sides.
It all looks set up for the Quarter finals from that side to be:
Spain Vs Germany
France vs Portugal
Who do you think has the best chance of emerging to the final from that side?
My opinion is that Spain will beat Germany and France will beat Portugal - I cannot split France and Spain in the semi final though - as even of a match up as I can see currently.
Germany are riding the host wave - but I’m not convinced they are a top side. Portugal have a great squad and famously beat France in 2016 - but I can’t see Bobby Martinez getting the better of Deschamps and Mbappe

Not gone quiet here. Clearly corrupt as feck. Impossible it could have fallen this way but here we have it. Thrown in hosting every third tournament now. Clearly money being thrown around to get England relevant in international football. Bit of a stain that the 'best league in the world' but the national team can't win feck all.

The matches so far have shown that the "lesser famous teams" are stronger than anyone thought.
This is a tournament where the winner could be a complete surprise.
