Yeah - I can’t believe I went against everyone on that and backed the Portuguese to win - that wasn’t the shock of the tournament was it.

Why not focus on me saying Hungary were shiete pre tournament - out at Group stage

Saying Belgium aren’t that good - draw with Ukraine and loss to Slovakia

England would go far and can win it ………….

Not really a prediction, but fair enough. I tend to bet a lot on international comps - but last group games are a nightmare I avoid as the propensity for a draw increases markedly and managers make wholesale changes.

The knockouts are my favourite for betting - just keep it simple with winner of tie. Will lean heavily into Germany and France as there is a bit of value there
