Smiley Badge

Yorkshire Rose and a yellow 2nd kit and I'm happy, the only thing I like about the Ridsdale badge is the LUFC, the rest is just there!..

Hated the Smiley badge first time around. Please not again. It had its day.

Lived through the white rose, and the rest.

Best thing to do with the badge? Leave it alone.

A badge is about recognition. It does that job because it's been around a while. It's recognised instantly, worldwide as I found out in Italy only last week.

Change for changes sake means you wipe that out and wait years for the new one to get to the same place.

This club has got bigger priorities.

You mean the Yorkshire Rose with Leeds United in it wouldn't be recognised!..

It was and still would be one of the most recognisable badges in the world, and it wouldn't take any getting used to!..

Dennis - the away kit is the one thing that bugs me, i dont care that my seat has been in situ since the days of Major Buckley, the entrance doors to our toilets have odd ironmongery, there's ceiling tiles missing since 2020 in them and the pies are pastry with a molten lava filling, but give me an all yellow away kit and i will be as happy as a pig in.

Agree.

About time we had an all yellow away kit.

The smiley badge was the club badge when
I was a nipper first kicking a ball about.
Personally love it.

Saying that, our club badge doesn't have the
history a lot of clubs have. Ours has chopped
and changed so much over the years, there's
never been one badge to build off of.

And the collection of iterations splits fan opinion.

I think like a few others, a badge redesign by
a truly top design firm would be a very good move.
Also agree though, not a priority right now.
