Gyokeres is 5 years older than Sesko and played a lot in lower leagues - I would hope he had scored more!!
He also failed to score in the play-off semi finals and final.
Scoring in league games is very rarely the same as Sesko's chance last night. Misses in the league very rarely will get scrutinised like that and Napoli won the league by 16 points.
Henry scored 3 group game goals against minnows in thrashings at home as favourites. Hardly comparable to Sesko playing for outsiders who were largely defensive and played without the ball.
You were talking about the "biggest pressure moments". These aren't group games or league games in which you are strolling to the title. These are CL finals when 1 up but down to 10 men, WC finals, Euro finals, play-off finals, cup finals.
Writing off Sesko because he missed a chance in the 115th minute of a gruelling game as a 21 year old playing in his first major tournament is beyond harsh. Haaland, Isak and Gyokeres couldn't even score the goals to get their nations to the finals!

I do agree with you...we ARE being overly "harsh" on the lad! And? Lol
We're (Arsenal) at a different level these days I'm afraid..we shouldn't be spending ANOTHER 65-70 million pounds on "potential"...we already have a not very prolific Kai leading the lines next season...I truly wouldn't wanna see Sesko added to our ranks for that kinda money based on what I saw...he's not a floor or ceiling raiser... certainly not right now, maybe in 3-4 years or something

There was no need to attempt any negotiation with Sesko's parent club because of the buy out. They both said Arsenal did approach Sesko to ascertain whether he would be interested in a move to Arsenal. As did other clubs, and he decided to stay an extra season in Germany.
I assume you are questioning whether Arsenal asked Sesko if he wanted to join Arsenal. And my point is that there would be no interest from Arsenal if they did not intend to buy.

I can't believe we're having a serious debate about whether a striking missing a big chance (like every other striker in history has done) somehow proves something about his "mentality". Like, it's got to be trolling and some kind of satire. Surely, no serious fan of football is that silly.

I thought that I saw more than one missed chance last night ,didn't he also have a good chance in the first half as well ?

Oh well in that case no club should even be thinking of signing him. In fact Leipzig should terminate his contract right now.

H von H supports a club who paid good money for Nico Jackson and Lukaku - TWICE so I guess he is a bit of an expert
