Clubs don't bid without some sort of nod from the player or their reps that a move could happen.

I read that which player you sign depends which one you’ll be able to get a lottery grant for…..

I don’t know. Maybe we’ve decided that if Everton won’t accept the Brantwaithe bid we’ll try for Yoro instead.

We have bid for De Ligt yet, maybe we’re sounding him out. Maybe he’s 3rd choice.

Seems better than our old approach of 1 player at a time.
