Darwin Nunez = Hero. Not to be sacked

Great stuff from the Uruguayan. Much better than what that clown Greenwood did.

I believe Ive been filtered about 5 times over the 13 years of this site.

Morespurs had me filtered for a while (changed his name and has unfiltered me now)
Sandy did too (was unfiltered before be left)
Boris for a while (again unfiltered now)
Robb I think has filtered me twice (still filtered)
And probably filtered by another or two over the years which I forget.

I think I'm only still filtered by Robb on this site as far as I'm aware

13 years and user number 17162? Something doesn't add up.

Imagine backing a Liverpool player over a United academy player, over some unsubstantiated claims from 3 years ago.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There was an audio recording you daft cvnt
----------------------------------------------------------------------

But we have no idea what was said before or after, why it was recorded, why it was released, what explanation was given, and lofsmof other things that the Police, CPS and Club were privy to and satisfied with.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anybody who actually cares about women should listen to that recording and be able to make enough of a judgement on that absolutely cvnt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

21 year old, immature, spoiled kid treats his missus badly, but has since apologised, accepted his part and vowed to do better, whilst settling down with her.

If you can't give the kid another chance, to play football BTW, not marry your daughter.FFS, then you are immature and overly sensitive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would you not let him marry your daughter

Fackin wet wipe
----------------------------------------------------------------------

My daughter is far to young for him, you nonce.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you'd want your daughter to hook up with someone like greenwood when she is old enough

Father of the year ladies and gents
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, because that's exactly.what I said.

Hard to tell from the videos what’s going on - I assume he wouldn’t behave like that unless his family were in danger, but is it actually proven?

It doesn’t make for pretty viewing - he could be in a lot of trouble and if he is, then it’s hard to argue it, unless his family were actually in that group right next to the opposition fans.

Not a good look for football, at all.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The footage isn't clear enough to know the ins and outs of it. It seems things had already kicked off between the players at full time. Press reports mention Suárez being at the heart of it, but I've no idea whether he instigated the handbags or was merely reacting. He's the obvious pantomime villain that the media would single out, but only a fool would rule out the possibility of him being the provocateur-in-chief.

As to what went on in the stands, going by the footage taken from the opposite stand it doesn't look to me like the huge threat to safety that's been claimed. It seemed like it was a relatively small number (about 4-6) of Colombia fans gathering around a much larger group that's making its way down to the pitch. Whether they're just shouting stuff rather than actually engaging anyone physically I really don't know. If it were the latter, then I guess the players' reactions might be justified.

That said, the chair swinging bit looks more like someone caught up in the heat of the moment more than a bloke defending his family.

I totally get that Liverpool fans would want to think Núñez's reaction was proportionate to the danger his family was in, and similarly that many United/oppo fans gleefully welcome the opportunity to pile on.

The relevant authorities will just have to analyse all of the information available to them and on the basis of that decide what needs to be done.

It’s ok to fill your missus in, just as long as you pay her and her family off, and get her to change her story.

Isn’t that right, RDD?

Tripe? I doubt it. But you seem to know for definite. How come?

It is difficult to see what's happening.

Pretty clear what Giménez thinks though if you watch his post-match interview (he starts on the incident after 40 secs). You could argue he's standing up for his team mates but he seems like someone trying to make a serious point to me. Not just about this game but many games.

Yeah, I watched that too. All that's left is to trust that the authorities will compile and take into account all of the information before reaching a decision.

Either way, I'd just like it to be based on the actual events rather than on the optics of what they think is expected of them.
