Kobbie Mainoo

What did people think of his performance? Was he ok? Did he do enough for the team?

You probably didn't notice Hafi but the first goal came when the Spanish got inside Shaw (who had played well until then) and from that point the defence was scrambling to cover. The goal was a direct result of a break on the Spain right,, English left.

PS, and Rice and Mainoo were schooled by the Spanish DM's. In Mainoo's case it is forgivable, he is young and learning, Rice is just not good enough.

England right had no one doing its job which is were Walker comes in lol.๐Ÿ˜‚ They couldn’t go through Shaw so used the weak-link Walker. Decided to see goal again and if Walker was at right back instead of center back he would have blocked that shot easily.๐Ÿ˜‚ I decided to see highlights and saw our whole defence seem so passive.๐Ÿ˜‚

Maybe Southgate was right, tiredness was an issue as the drop off between halves seem more fitness related.

Shaw played well but the first goal was down to him losing his man and the rest of the defence coming in to try to stop the crossfield run and shot.

I see weak link Walker made UEFA's team of the tournament Hafi. You can unerringly pick a winner, albeit inadvertently.

Maignan was picked as well which shows what a farce it is.
