I reckon there's quite a lot that will be sad cos he seems pretty personable with the squad and takes a lot of heat off of them.

And him getting into the team ahead of Kounde or Carvajal was an absolute travesty and clearly designed to avoid the team of the tournament having no players from one of the finalist teams.

Sometimes officials make bad judgements Ted, keep up

Saw a good David Baddiel tweet yesterday that suggested that maybe his biggest strength was his likability and man-management but that it was probably also his biggest weakness. 8 years of 'nice guy' does see the same faces trusted and the work rate drop. It's no one's fault, it's perfectly natural. Sometimes that nice guy thing needs to be balanced with a total shiiiiithouse to keep you on your toes. I don't think Southgate has that about him.

This is why Klopp is the perfect candidate. Great man-manager but won't let standards drop and knows the English game and players really well. We'd be daft to ignore him just because he's foreign.
