Spurs v Hearts

Finally, after a summer of no worthwhile football to watch, Spurs are back. Anyone else watch the match?

Can't read too much into friendlies of course, but I really like the look of Bergvall. He cheaply gives the ball away a bit too much but he's such a positive player, always wanting the ball and always looking to create. Could be something special.

Royal with a total howler for their only goal within about a minute of him being on the pitch. He won't be missed.

Also, from this game....it's hard to see why Spence doesn't deserve his shot. Looked really decent.

Final score 5-1 to Spurs.

Yeah I agree, just seems a bit of a shame that Spence never really got a shout as I thought he looked decent. But it just seems to be the wrong fit.

I watched the match, hard to judge this early in pre-season, plus I thought Hearts were pretty poor to be fair.

But some good performances. 1st half, very well worked 1st goal. 2nd half all the youngster looked decent I thought. Bergvall's cross was sublime and he did look decent. I was surprised with how deep he played alot of the time, I didn't expect that but then again I didn't know what to expect

Spence seems like he has all the qualities to be a perfect Ange full back.

I hope he gets a chance to show that he has a good attitude as well. That Italian loan must have done him some good.
