Can't believe this is the state of journalism these days

Every MuEN article concerning City or United players are always "...show true colours after...:"

It's like they've learnt another click-bait phrase aside from ".... shocks the football world to the core" or "... and here's why", and is continuing to rinse the hell out of it until they find another click-baity phrase.

Then, when you read to satisfy the curiosity to find out what the "true colours" are, you will learn that Phil Foden commiserated and shook Akanji/Ake's hand after England progressed after defeating their respective countries. That was his "true colours", ffs.

Did you share their article? Mission complete.

There is a culture of things being really bad/inaccurate so that people share and comment to say how bad it is and correct it. That gets more interaction than something that is factually correct and not controversial. Interaction is the only goal.

The first step in combatting this is to recognise it.

Let's practice.

"This is shiiiite"

The irony here is you've also commented on the article giving it more traction...

Feck me. Now I understood the context.

I did wonder who Bobby was in relation to the McGuiness', and how much pleasure he could actually give from fingering *through* his Heat magazine...
