Rangnick was right about Man Utd problems

So Ten Hag has now come out and said it as well. Its taken him some time, but he has now started to speak his mind, does this tell you that Ten Hag now knows his time is up at UTD ?

He is basically saying what everyone knows anyway, so what do you all reckon ? Is Ten Hag now fighting for his life ? Is he preparing everyone to lower their expectations for the coming season ? Is he planning to fail ?

A lot of questions, but what do the Man Utd fans think about this statement.

He should be sacked. He’s basically saying we are finished as a top club.

We aren’t. We just need a top manager.

Probably more to do with the fact he has a different structure above him now and can speak his mind more freely without repercussion from those above

What would be interesting to know is whether ETH had a say on whether ralpH should stay or go a decided he should go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All the noise at the time was that ETH said he didn't want to work with Ralf. Which probably the truth of it as Ralf spoke about and seemed keen to work with ETH after it was announced that he would be our manager. That said, Ralf was quite vocal in the press about the club ignoring his advise to sign another striker. Perhaps he signed his own death warrant with that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m in agreement in that I feel he pisx** off the powers above too much during his time here. We would never know but I feel had he stayed, we would be in a much better place now that Ineos are taking over.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably so. Could be that it wad half ETH not wanting to work with him and the club having had enough of him

If only we’d just told ETH that Ralf was from Rotterdam…

I think we’ll be decent with the new additions this season. Yes, even with ETH

I think you might be right. Hopefully decent enough to get top 4 and see an improvement in the football

I think it's the exact opposite. I think he now has people above him who can give him what he needs and he knows that. No excuses from now on in though really. I don't expect miracles but if he doesn't get a silly injury crisis like last season then top 4 has to be the minimum requirement.

Every team has a good chance at a silly injury crisis. It's the new way of football. Too many games.

It would be difficult not to be better than last season, in terms of both on-field playing style and performance and finishing league position.

All I really want is to see something tangible in the way we play, and we are at least decent to watch and look solid as a unit. It could be there are 3 or 4 other teams this season who perform really well, but if we can complete a couple of more good signings, top 4 should be attainable. The question then becomes are we making good enough progress under ETH, but one step at the time.
