AIA

Random one, but why does AIA have to be in red on the shirt?

Yes their logo is predominantly red/white but I’ve seen other sponsors like Standard Chartered have their logo in white on Liverpool home kit, even though thats not their predominant colour (blue/green).

We also have the matching colour when its on an away kit it. Can’t wait for AIA to fack off but knowing our luck we will probably get vodafone/netflix/cocacola/virgin etc.!

I would guess that yes it does for the home shirt.
Personally I’m not fussed either way.

I was thinking this the other day, really facking annoying that it can be navy for the away shirts but has to be red for the home

I’m not majorly fussed but it would look so much nicer if the AIA was in navy.

I’m pretty sure it would have come down to extra revenue, Daniel would have asked for more money if we put it in their branding (red) for our home shirt which has more coverage…money money money.

Putting it in red will give you more money to buy Spain's next top skateboarder.

Think it is Red because asians love that colour and it has special meaning. Something like that anyway.

Red is a hugely important and special colour in Asian cultures and signifies luck and prosperity so you are correct.

I will never get a home shirt for as long as it’s a red AIA. I don’t buy kits anyway tbh. The prices are a joke
