He's Norwegian, previously assistant coach at Brentford and Arsenal.
Does anyone know more about him? It's an important role so I hope he's up to it.

Does this mean McClaren has gone, I heard United have dispensed with Van Der Gaag but nothing about McClaren?

Isn’t this the new set piece guy? Supposedly did wonders at some other clubs before he took a head coach role last season.

McClaren is still at United.
He's stayed in Manchester to take training with the players who are returning late to pre-season after the Euro's and haven't gone to the USA.
