Don't think we will regret it

In recent history, we have held onto far too many players after they had passed their best

Goldson was one of them, Tavernier another

Squad needs refreshed, these guys have been mainstays in the spine of the team for long enough now, with limited success

Only makes sense if you replace them with guys as good but younger or better.

If we've got a few million we should be able to do that with Goldson, Tav - no chance.

You haven’t got a few million though.

As for us; as annoyed as I sometime get re our policy on signings, as a fan base we are delighted when we play hardball when it comes to selling players and manage to get some ridiculous fees for quite mediocre players at times.

But then we expect that same board to cave in to other clubs demands when we are looking at players to bring in.

I prefer our way of dealing with transfers. It works and it works quite spectacularly on the domestic front. Those who think we should be making some kind of a noise at CL level haven’t really grasped the lack of lure to join an SPFL club for those that just might make the difference.

People want the rangers board to come out and make statements about definite timelines when everyone knows fine well that what Bennett communicated is the best anyone can do in this situation.

Gives definite timelines and their is slippage like there is in 90% of these projects - Rangers get slaughtered.

Gives a sensible reasonable timeline with sensible reasonable caveats - ooh check ‘King Caveat’.

I'd like the board to take all reasonable measures to prevent something like this happening

Can call me over critical if you want, but ordering steel from China and starting the work on the ground, knowing how toke critical it was, when the steelwork isn't here...... that's not exactly belt and braces to ensure it's finished on time is it?

Funny that about Far East steel & Rangers.

That triggered the start David Murray's MIM's troubles in 2006/7.
