Understand Ruud van Nistelrooy held direct talks with Chido Obi-Martin to present him Man United project for long term.

Van Nistelrooy, crucial to get the green light from Chido as deal is done and set to be signed.

After Chido Obi Martin, Man United also agree deal to sign Samuel Lusale from Crystal Palace for the Academy.

16 year old winger set for United move after he turned down scholarship deal at Palace, as @MUFC_Youth reports.

Why?

Loads of hype, massive coup, goal machine apparently. He’s just signed for Sheff Wed on a free.

Bit tenuous, the hype and their records aren’t comparable. McNeill had barely played u18 football when we signed him and had only scored once, I think.

This lad scored 32 goals in 20 games in the u18s at the age of 16.

Apparently we will play him in the U18s and the U21s as availability allows. Arsenal refusing to play him in the U21s was a major factor for him.

That's a lie, he would've played in the U21s this year, Nwaneri and Lewis Skelly already did from last year. Man Utd promised him that he would be their 3rd striker, behind Hoijland and Zirkee
