According to another poster on the ROI board (i think it was CompletelyPogued) if the French win against Bosnia tonight then Ireland will (providing we do the business against Armenia and get at least a draw)l be seeded for the Play-Off draw!!
Can anyone shed any light on this please. Is this a fact?
If so it will make definitely increase our chances of actually Qualifying for the finals of Euro 2012!! That said any side who manages to finish second in their group are not to be taken lightly.
The best opponent for us would be Estonia (assuming Serbia mess up tonight).
So, the French could actually be doing us a favour. As Jimmy Greaves would say "Football is a funny old game"!!!
Allez Les Blues!!!
If France win tonight......................

The team you want to face are the Czechs if they do finish ahead of us.
They are honking.

It said as much in the Irish News, that if France win we are seeded.
I looked at another site and it seemed more complex than that.
If we win tonight I think we are seeded.
I would imagine the juggling skills in France will get them through tonight. If they do then I hope against hope for Estonia as the draw, who we should batter. Maybe UEFA will do us a favour and do hot-ball, cold-ball for us. [Yeah right].
Outside of that, I hope we draw the toads in the play-offs. I don't think that would be two games you would have to motivate the players or the supporters to get up for.

Are the toads the Belgians?
Dont think they will get anything from the Germans tonight which will limit their chances of a play-off.
Anyway, Estonia would be a great draw. Nice place to visit too.
