The Scottish league season starts today, with the English leagues below the PL all kicking off next week.
SPL
Celtic 4/11 favourites, Rangers 2/1 and then it is all the way back to Hearts at 80/1. Celtic seem a no-brainer for an accumulator. There is the option of who will finish highest without the Old Firm, Hearts @ 7/4, Aberdeen 11/4 and Hibs 7/2.
Championship
Leeds are 11/4 favourites after narrowly missing out last season. Relegated Burnley and Luton are next at 6s and 9s. Middlesbrough had a disappointing season but can be risked at 10s, with Coventry and Sheffield United at 14/1. West Brom, Norwich, Stoke, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday and QPR can be got from 16 up to 25/1. While Portsmouth (33) and Derby (40) are given a slim chance, fellow promoted side Oxford United are 150/1 outsiders.
League One
Birmingham are fancied to go straight back up, with odds of 2/1. Bolton just missed out on automatic promotion last season, and are 7/1 to win the league this season. Rotherham and Huddersfield, both relegated last season, are 8/1 and 12/1 respectively. Hollywood FC, aka Wrexham, are 14/1 to make it 3 promotions in 3 seasons. Charlton, Peterborough, Barnsley, Blackpool and Lincoln are all 20/1 and under.
League Two
Chesterfield (6/1) are favourites, but the bookies aren't as committal here. MK Dons (15/2), Gillingham (8/1), Doncaster and Port Vale (9/1 each) are also fancied. Bradford, Notts County, Carlisle and Salford aren't much longer odds. New entries to league football, Bromley, are 100/1.
National League
Barnet are favourites here, @ 4/1. Forest Green Rovers, relegated after many managerial changes last season, are 9/1 along with Oldham and Southend. Hartlepool, Solihull Moors, Rochdale and Sutton are all 14s.
Across Europe we have Inter 8/13 favourites for Serie A, with Juventus 4/1 and AC Milan 13/2. In Spain Real Madrid are 4/9, Barca 4/1 and Atletico 10/1. PSG are 2/7 for the French title, with Marseille (12/1) and Monaco (14/1) next best. Despite missing out last season, Bayern are 1/2 for the Bundesliga, ahead of champions Leverkusen (5/2) and Leipzig and Dortmund (both 12s). SkyBet has PSV favourites for the Eredivisie, 6/5, ahead of Feyenoord (7/4) and Ajax (11/4).
Oh, and City are 11/8 favourites for the PL, with Arsenal @ 13/8, Liverpool 7/1, Chelsea 16/1, Man Utd 20/1 and Spurs 22/1.
City are also favourites for the CL @ 5/2, Real are 3/1, Arsenal 9/1, Bayern 10s, Liverpool 12s and Barca 12s.
All odds from SkyBet, so better odds are potentially available elsewhere.
An acca of Celtic, Leeds, Wrexham, MK Dons and Oldham is 6518.89/1 and that is what I am losing my £1 on...
