Fair play to City !!!! Good player BUT that's a ton money for a guy who was basically Haaland's back up., I know he won a WC with Messi but he cost 14 mln quid a couple of years ago and scored something like 30 goals in 100 odd games.
Can someone at City have a word with Levy & Co about how to efficiently and profitably sell a player.
would have liked him at Spurs. I wonder if this deal will set a benchmark for good goal scorers this window. Would love to know what Spurs are after for Richie is reports of Saudi interest in him are true
82 Mln For Julien Alvarez !!!

Sorry Hounslow, you're a good guy and I've never had a problem with you in all the years I've been on here.
I just think you're grammar could bee improoved so you don't sound like that Italian guy.

Deal should be investigated. He’s not worth anywhere near that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not his fault you lot bottled it again.
Last season, Alvarez had 32 goal contributions for City in 3481minutes. Havertz had 21 in 3827 minutes.
Alvarez: 1 goal contribution in 108.7 minutes
Havertz: 1 goal contribution in 182.2 minutes
Alvarez also won pretty much everything he could with City.

wtf man, are you trying to sell him to me or something? And using Havertz as a comparison when his price tag was by far the most heavily scrutinised as last Summer really doesn’t help your argument here.

club that paid 113m for joao felix, in todays market 80m? dont think its an insane price tbh. city got a good deal but i doubt they wanted to lose him either and they held most the cards, contract length etc.

Exactly right, there was no indication that City were trying to sell him.

You asked that the deal should be investigated and I gave you valid stats and arguments. Now you're defensive about it all.

If he'd been sold to Girona for £80m then I could understand the raised eyebrows.

I'd doubt I will ever get his counter argument to support his trite and hollow comment.
