Sorry to see him go think he has a lot to offer, though not sure how he'll fit at Athletico. We seem to have accumulated a lot of loot from sales. Who, if anyone, are we looking to bring in? Olmo perhaps? What do we actually need?

I think you’ll go for Musiala

Bobb, O'Reilly, and McAtee did really well and might get some minutes this coming season (Bobb especially, to state the obvious).
I am hoping that we will nurture more youngsters as we have done with the likes of Foden and Lewis. I was reminded that we could have signed Lamine Yamal and Alejandro Balde until Xavi put the brakes on. Who would Yamal have played ahead of? He would be scraping meagre minutes now and again, which would be an absolute waste. It was also one of the reasons why Cole Palmer left us.
I hope one of Pep's stretch targets this campaign is to season one or two youngsters (in addition to Bobb), and we will need some berths for that.

Always came across as a great lad as well as a top striker.
I can't see anyone else in the squad who would be a like-for-like replacement, luckily we don't seem to have a problem scoring goals atm

Yamal would not have played for you until he turned 18.

I think there is an intention to leave space for young players to get through. Personally I wouldn't mind us signing a full back - we've only really got one and he's not as young as he used to be. But I don't think Pep really believes in full backs - at least not in the way most people understand them.
Which reminds me we still own Cancelo - wonder where he'll end up.

I'm assuming that Rico is a RB as well as KW? A true LB would be handy, will miss Julian A, I think he is a real talent and sad to see him go, although clearly a good bit of business financially.

I’ve always thought of Rico as a midfielder playing full back. Mind you with Pep the fullbacks spend half their time playing midfield. Agree about a true LB. Latest name we seem to be linked with is Rodryg from Real, on the assumption that they need to sell now they have Mbappe.

We really need an independent football regulator. The PL is not fit for purpose,
