Adam Pope on Summerville

He says there was “an attitude problem" with Cree.

Anyone heard or seen anything to suggest this? I know Pope will have much more insider info than the average fan and will probably know a lot more about players and how they conduct themselves outside of the public eye.

Or is he just laying into him now we’ve sold him?

Some guy just called him out as racist on X because allegedly white players never get labelled with an “attitude problem"

Like Cantona I guess

.........there was that Marsch interview not long back stating that Summerville was the worst trainer at the club.

Good riddance, he was sometimes too selfish on the ball never wanting to pass, always wanting the glory of scoring. Erratic temperament.

He scored 20 goals and assisted in another 12. That's the kind of erratic temperament I can live with, MRU.

Not sure about that one LeedsMRU...

thought the lad was a breath of fresh air and our best player last season... always sad to see players of his calibre leave.. but we have to be realistic

OK, maybe I was a bit too harsh on him(sorry about that Mr Summerville) - but it could be a blessing in disguise, Rutter will take over...

I think at times he looked lazy but overall had a very productive season. The problem for me was that every time we went forward he was the pass they were looking for - even when others looked to be better placed.

Not sure we will miss him as much as many think.

Certainly first half last week we looked very good. Rutter was unplayable and Ampadu and Gruv ran midfield.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow.
