Your clubs Mount Rushmore

This is open to supporters of all clubs. Pick 4 players from your clubs history that would make a Mount Rushmore. I was gonna include managers but it takes away from the fun of having to pick only 4 players

Find the Itd choices quite interesting really. Most are from a time when they didn’t actually win much. Giggs isn’t mentioned once and he won more than most people’s four choices put together.

With my selections I have left out Best, Giggs & Rooney due to their questionable morals, despite their obvious talents.

This is one where we would disagree, Elvis.

As I would never regard footballers as any kind of role model I would only judge them on what they did on the football pitch.

I struggle to name four that I would pick as I can talk myself out of one on behalf on another at any given time.

The only one player who I am constant on is George Best. No shocks to anyone who knows me there.

Hes the most talented and exciting player united have ever had. Hes the reason why we became United supporters and or started going to matches. The fact he became a drinker doesnt come into it.

It's not just the drinking with Best for me. It's the woman beating and also the fact he was given another chance with a liver transplant and didn't change.

And alcoholism is actually a terrible thing to live with.
