I've read a few articles to say that the supposed minority sale/investment in the club is not as advanced nor as likely to happen anytime soon as suggested a couple months ago.
Seems Levy and Co. Valuation of £3.75bn (total) isn't shared by everyone, because stadium and facilities aside Spurs "recent" (putting it lightly) history with trophies is non existent.
Subsequently getting £500m from someone for minority stake is proving hard. Although seems Amanda Stavely may be the one or MSP (both meh for me).
So as good as Levy is from an economic point of view, it's still there in black and white that trophies/success counts for a lot.
Especially when you're trying to sell a sports team.
This is not a Levy bashing article, just feel that for him to demand top dollar for a football team, he should have made better decisions on footballing matters down the years.
Getting Saha & Nelson for Redknapp instead of top quality players.
Selling Dembele before the CL final.
Not backing Poch when we needed.
Sack Mourinho days before a cup final.
There's lots more.
Thoughts?
Chickens coming home to roost?

TBF stadium deserves a top notch naming partner. It's an elite level venue.
I don't know exactly what figure Levy was originally set on? How much is he prepared to a ceot now?

Be interested to know if it is the Lewis Family Trust who are selling a some of their stake or a combination of them and Levy selling a combined stake.
"The Board and its advisors, Rothschild & Co, are in discussions with prospective investors. Any recommended investment proposal would require the support of the Club’s shareholders." Levy said this in April
If Levy wants to stay on, I doubt he would relinquish much of his 29.88% investment in ENIC, who own 86.58% of the club.
It will be a complicated deal and the longer Levy delays the more the price will go up as it has done since the start of the Premier League. So he is no real rush to sell.
And he wants a rumoured £30m a year for the naming rights. But the naming rights will only be agreed after a new investment is sought, I think this due to the fact the club's value will increase again and to potentially give the new investors annual return. But I'm not 100% sure on this.

The aerse fell out of naming rights a while back, that market is not what it once was.

Rumours of takeovers / investment are drip fed into the media by Levy to try and keep the fan base thinking positively.
The sane thinking of us realise nothing is going to happen.

It is the trust that want to sell the Joe Lewis trust his family have no interest in football barr Daniel Levy. I suspect Levy will inherit a percentage of the club to keep him as a majority shareholder.
There is no doubt in my mind it will be an American investor to go along with the NFL.
West ham doing better business we should be querying why we pay the highest prices in the league.
Notice Villa have loaned out 20 million lewis dobbin to west brom. Surely there will be comeback on the PSR scams.
