I would agree to this if I thought we would be an absolutely dominant team. But we won't. We are going to miss those tackles. Keep an eye for stats on the right side.

The options were sell him, let him go for free next summer or give him a new contract.

I think we chose the right option.

RedTom, you can admire all the tackles you like. Follow teams or players you actually like following. Why bother following Utd if it makes you so miserable every week?

The weather, Olympics, riots?

I think Ugarte will be signed, probably on an initial loan with obligation to buy. Could be haggling over final fee, payment structure, etc. It's all very frustrating though as we discussed previously it would have been nice to have him embedded into the squad, pre season under his belt then ready for the season ahead. At this rate his debut could be delayed by a few weeks depending on his fitness.

Has he even trained with PSG following his return from extended leave?

It's quite mad to think that we signed him when he was 16 or 17 for about £9m or so... We'll probably make a loss on a player we signed as a kid, which seems kind of ridiculous.
